Susan is a native Galvestonian and has lived in Galveston Bay Area her entire life. She was educated in the public school system in Galveston and Seabrook, graduating from Clear Lake High School. She is a summa cum laude graduate of The University of St. Thomas in Houston with a B.A. in political science and a graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston.
Susan was licensed to the Texas Bar in 1983 and became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2002. There are more than 70,000 attorneys licensed to practice law in Texas; only 7,000 of them are Board Certified.
Susan created the Edmonson Law Firm in 1987 after several years of gaining experience in other offices. The firm has served Galveston County and the Galveston Bay Area continuously since that time with office locations in both Galveston and Seabrook.
Outside of the office, Susan loves to cook, entertain, travel, and read; but most of all she loves playing with her kitten, Ziva.
